After the
terrific Incendies, Denis Villeneuve's English-language adventure continues with
Enemy, following on from last year's
Prisoners. Again linking up with that film's star Jake Gyllenhaal, Villeneuve's new film looks like a compelling tale of paranoia and doppelgängers as not one but two (or several?) Jakes start to cross paths. This looks dark, crunching and terrifically compelling, with some of the same family notes of
Incendies clearly visible.
