Wrapping up Trailer Of The Week's look at the just-finished Cannes Film Festival is the preview for Michael Haneke's Palm d'Or-winning Amour, due to reach UK shores on general release this November. Naturalistic and quiet, the trailer hints at what it is going to be like to spend over two hours with Haneke trapped in a flat with just, largely, Jean-Louis Trintignant and Emmanuelle Riva for company - just look at how long he spends during the final shot watching someone turn off a stereo, for example. An intimidating prospect then, in some ways, and certainly for other films looking to get involved in standard awards season shenanigans.
