Trailer Of The Week - Week #20

At risk of exposing my ignorance, I didn’t even know Three Days Of The Condor existed until last week, when a commenter (Snarky’s Machine) alerted me to all of the similarities between it and Brian De Palma’s Mission Impossible. I think I can be forgiven: the film is currently unavailable on DVD in the UK which seems strange considering its star (Robert Redford) is a household name and that it can proudly claim a 1976 Oscar nomination (albeit for editing). The trailer is engrossing but like most 1970-1990 trailers, it seems to reveal a little too much. Redford as a spy well before he was in Spy Game though? I’m in.

Trailer Of The Week is a regular Film Intel feature which picks a different tasty trailer of delectable goodness every week and presents it on Sunday for your viewing pleasure.
