There is a certain type of trailer that, rather than give you a nice introduction to the upcoming film, instead skips a step out and simply condenses the film in to two minutes. You know, for your conveniance. It doesn't appear like film companies are getting any wiser about this either, especially when you look at the recent trailer for Love Happens. Not blessed with the most ambiguous title to begin with (do you think that Love might, well... Happen?) this two minute thirty second short film trailer shows us two damaged people who find solace in each other through the help of his now deceased wife's Dad and her slighty kooky best friend. Job done. And you can thank the marketing people at Universal later for saving you from seeing the whole thing.

Yes, I watched it on Friday night - extremely good trailer for what looks to be a film with a real chance of actually fulfilling its hype. If I hadn't have written this already, it would have been here... I'll save it for a future week!
